Molly Kate’s Gifts and Tea Room has not received any gifts yet
Commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the sinking of the R.M.S. Titanic with a two-hour high tea experience at MollyKate’s Gifts & Tea Room, located at 730 W. Lancaster Blvd. History lovers can embark on this educational and exciting culinary voyage as part of a special interest series of summer activities offered exclusively by the City of Lancaster.
Guests will enjoy dishes and service reminiscent of the Titanic, as well as dine with Captain Smith, the unsinkable Molly Brown and other characters who were on the ship that fateful night. The $30 fare for the high tea includes a passenger ticket and log, as well as a commemorative photograph. While diners are not obligated to dress the part, costumes are welcomed and guests are encouraged to play along with the whimsy of the occasion.
Just as the maiden voyagers had to make reservations for the ship's A la Carte Restaurant, so too will the diners of this nostalgic affair. Seatings are offered on Monday, July 23; Sunday, August 19; and Monday, September 24, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Those interested in attending should reserve their seats promptly as seating is limited.
